School is ending and summer activities are quickly approaching. Summer includes special outdoor activities, Faith-Family-Fireworks, Vacation Bible School, vacations, weddings, and a variety of other events.

Although these events and activities are necessary in their own special way, let us not forget to keep the Main Thing, the main thing. Christ is the center and focus of everything we do. His mission is our priority. Sharing the gospel message is the church’s purpose.

Would you consider yourself “perfect?”  Most of us would acknowledge that we are a long way from perfect.  Yet, I have good news!  In Christ, you have been made perfect.  By the power of the Holy Spirit living in you, you are being made perfect, sanctified for God’s purpose.  In God’s eyes, because of Christ we are perfect.
