Dear First Family and Friends,

 

I want to begin this article by thanking you for your prayers, support, cards and get-well wishes, food, and assistance. Denise and I are grateful and thankful that you are our family, and we love you dearly. Several individuals who have had this surgery have told me that the hardest part is physical therapy after surgery. So, our journey still has a ways to go, but at this point things are going better than expected. I am back preaching and partial back to the office.

What a blessing it was to join with you in worship yesterday! I felt the love and support you have for Denise and me.  Sharing in the Lord’s Supper with you was a special way to return to the pulpit. I trust you felt the working of the Spirit as I did, throughout the whole service.

Denise and I are in Branson this week, seeking God’s direction and plan for our new Church year. Join us in praying for God’s vision for First Baptist Church Lamar, Missouri.
